Wisconsin -- pretty amazing

Summer in Wisconsin can be great -- if you manage to avoid the humidity. This summer, we did -- in fact, it was unseasonably cool. But we had a wonderful time. One of the best finds this time was Cave Point County Park in Door County. As Owen put it, "This place is pretty. This place is amazing."














The park is on Lake Michigan, which is slowly wearing away the limestone, built up eons ago as coral reef.















Owen got to spend time with his cousin Anna, who was born 3 days after him. They always hit it off, though they don't see each other often. I wonder how they will get along next year, when they are 13, and then 14, 15 ...
